Dubai :-
The emirate of Dubai
ranked first among Arab cities and 74 globally in the 19th Quality of Life
Report issued by Mercer Consulting recently.
Abu Dhabi :-
Abu Dhabi was the
second largest Arab country in the list, while it ranked 87th in the list of
the best countries in the world in terms of quality of living in 2019.

Etihad Airways and
Saudi Arabian Airlines plan to add new destinations to Code Partnership.
Etihad Airways:
The
national airline of the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabian Airlines, the
national airline of Saudi Arabia, have announced plans to add new destinations
for participating flights.
Etihad Airways Group
Chief Executive Tony Douglas said in a joint statement on Tuesday that there is
planning to expand the code sharing agreement in the coming months and provide
more benefits to our customers.
Etihad Airways and
Saudi Arabian Airlines have reported positive growth in passenger numbers since
the code-share partnership began in November 2018.
The statement added
that Etihad Airways and Saudi Arabian Airlines carried more than 16,000 guests
together on code-share flights, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to growth
in business and tourism traffic in the two markets.
Under the
code-sharing agreement, the carriers will fly EY and SV on flights to 14
destinations with the addition of Vienna this week.
In the coming
months, Etihad Airways will place its EY code on Saudi Arabian Airlines flights
to Tunis, Sharm el-Sheikh and Alexandria.
At the same time,
Saudi Arabian Airlines will put its SV code on Etihad Airways flights to Tokyo,
Nagoya and Baku.
In the second phase
of the code-share partnership, Etihad will place the code “EY” on Saudi Arabian
Airlines flights to Algiers, Dhaka and Erbil, and Saudi Arabian Airlines will
also “SV” on flights to Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Moscow and Dusseldorf, Hong
Kong, Kathmandu, Lagos, Minsk, Rabat, Astana, and more destinations in India.

Dubai to host Middle East oil and gas conference:
Dubai will host the
27th Middle East Oil & Gas Conference from 7 to 9 April 2019.
According to a press
release, a number of keynote speakers, including oil ministers, chief
executives and senior management representatives from major sector companies,
as well as experts, specialists, traders and refiners will participate in the
conference.
The Middle East Oil
and Gas Conference 2019 will address the impact of geopolitical factors on
global oil markets, and how volatile prices and growing demand have created new
opportunities for enhanced international cooperation and rationalization of consumption.
More than 400
delegates are expected to attend, and more than 600 delegates will take part in
the Middle East Oil and Gas Week between April 6 and 11, which is the most
prominent event.
All the week’s
